Yes. At a minimum, you will need a Sport Pilot - Gyroplane privilege.

With the builder assist program, building space, special tools, and expert advice are available to make the process enjoyable and rewarding. Most gyros can be built with this program in 7 to 10 days. Contact AutoGyro USA for more information about the builder assist program.

How long does it take to get one?

Anywhere from aircraft in-stock to 12 weeks and longer depending on the model ordered and factory schedules.

How many are flying?

In the U.S., about 185. Worldwide, about 2600.

What about spare parts?

We stock most commonly requested parts at our Maryland location. Most requests can be filled with an email or phone call. Our inventory of spare parts will help keep you flying. We pride ourselves on customer service.

What about the factory?

Auto-Gyro GmbH produces about 200 aircraft per year. They employ over 100 skilled technicians and workers. They are constantly refining and developing products for the gyro community from recreational to professional.
